Costa Rica is a potentially year-round destination. The dry season, from mid-November to mid-April, is generally the most recommended. However, the rainy season can also offer unique experiences: showers are often brief, wildlife becomes more active — especially for birdwatching — and tourist crowds decrease, offering more authentic landscapes and clearer images.
